Takeno is a tourist place, surrounded by the sea and mountains. The nature here is abundant all year round. There are many visitors, who come to Takeno to enjoy sea bathing in the summer and delicious Snow crab dish in the winter. In October, 2010 San`in Kaigan Geopark was officially recognized and since then drew tourists` attention.
The canoeing route lies trough the natural monument ― "the Hasakari Rock", located along the seashore. There is a cave exploration and lots of magnificent spots on the way. So, the landscape, formed more than 10 thousand years ago, will guarantee you many breathtaking moments.

Our staff are highly qualified and equipped for emergency. All instructors take a high-level lifesaving course and go through special training with the fire station brigade every season.
What is GEO-CANOEING?
It is an adventure tour around the San`in Kaigan Geopark area, located in Takeno. It is so easy, that everyone can try it! Once you paddle towards the sea, you will enter the extraordinary world to be deeply moved and excited… The sound of the wind and thewaves, the sea smell, the sun rays, the chill of the rocks… On reactivating your five senses, feel the beat of the Mother Earth!

Age requirements for admission
Children from 6 years old - (1st year of elementary school)
Children from 3 to 5 years old can take a "family tour" in a team with their parent.
Charges on all adventure tours are fixed and same for all ages.

Sneakers, deck shoes or crocs are OK!
No socks or flip-flops! - HAT
A hat with the brim and the string
(so that it will not be blown away) is preferable. Baseball cap is also OK.
And we recommend you to wear sunglasses and sunscreen in summer season.
What is "SUP"?
SUP is the abbreviation of "Stand-Up Paddle Surfing".
SUP, born at Waikiki Beach (Hawaii), is a paddling activity,
while standing on a big surf board.
Tour at sea
Once you try it, you can soon feel that the seawater is buoyant enough to keep balance and this is when you start enjoying it in the same way as canoeing / kayak. SUP cruising is either for those, who can ride on a wave or who cannot. It does not matter, if you are good at surfing or not ‒ you can equally enjoy the ride! Also, it will be a good recreation for your family. Even your pet dog will enjoy it! Once you get used to paddling, your cruising can last one or two hours. When you feel tired, you can take a rest and stretch out on the surf board. You will be in unison with the sun, the wind, the waves and a peculiar feeling that you are floating in the air will give you an excellent relaxation!
